Life goals. Money goals. In that order.
When prioritizing, life goals must be first. If you don't know what they are, how do you know how to set your money goals? I believe they must, in fact, be done “in that order.” With good information everyone can - and should – be actively involved in the process of setting goals and putting together the plan to achieve those goals.
